A family business that has steadily grown.

Furniture and Things started in 1991 with an old barn, two floors and lots of enthusiasm! In 1999 we took over the building that had been the TSB bank and used the courtyard at the back to link the two buildings together. 2006 saw the building of a new showroom to cover the courtyard and provide another lovely showroom. The shop is now all under one roof and quite different than anything you have visited before!

Martin and I run the business with a huge input from our knowledgeable and friendly staff. In addition to Furniture & Things we also have a thriving antique/secondhand furniture business which is renowned in this part of the country.

We hope you like our choices of furniture including bedroom, living and dining room ranges, and the myriad of accessories in our shop. We have fun choosing them and seek the best quality and value. It is difficult to do justice to the huge and ever changing selection of mirrors, prints and lamps on the web site but we are known for our extensive selections. Our local customers seem to keep coming back so we can't be too bad and we seem to be delivering or sending furniture further and further afield.

Our prices are keen but please give us a chance to match any that you may find better.
